Cookies & browser storage.
Last updated: October 19, 2026
Fair Drop uses cookies and browser storage to run the features you request. We do not add advertising trackers or audience analytics to the app.
What is stored
- Sign-in and security cookies: Fair Drop’s authentication library uses cookies prefixed with
fairdrop(and a secure prefix on HTTPS) for sessions, Google sign-in state and two-factor challenges. Session lifetime is limited to 30 days; security challenges are shorter lived. - Keep me signed in: choose this option at password login to keep the session cookie after closing the browser. Otherwise a browser-session cookie is used. Logging out invalidates that session.
- Session storage: your selected plan and return destination keep a requested action working across sign-in. This storage is scoped to the browser tab, not an advertising profile.
- Providers: Cloudflare may use security cookies. Google and Stripe handle storage on their own sign-in and payment pages when you visit them.
Your controls
Use Account → Security to sign out of devices. Your browser lets you clear or block cookies and site storage; doing so can interrupt login and unfinished actions. We do not show an advertising-cookie consent banner because we have not added optional tracking. Any future optional tracking must stay off until the applicable consent requirements are met.
